Purpose:

Our purpose as a preschool is to provide all children with a safe, caring and loving environment where they can grow spiritually, mentally, socially, and emotionally.  We believe that children learn best by doing and need many opportunities to explore and create.  Our curriculum is based on current research and sound educational theories.  It provides a wide range of hands-on, interactive activities that allow children to use their unique learning styles to experiment and explore their surroundings.

Parents are kept informed of their child's activities and progress through monthly newsletters, weekly family notes, and parent teacher conferences which are used to discuss individual student evaluations.

Schedule:

Classes begin in August and end in May.  We follow the Elizabethton city School schedule pertaining to student schedules, teacher workdays, and holidays.

School Hours:

(7:30 am - 8:00 am) - Early care is provided for all children whose parents' work schedules require a need for additional care.

(8:00 am - 11:45 am) - Regular School Hours.

Programs:

3-year olds

3 day program - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

2 day program - Tuesday and Thursday

4 and 5 year olds

3 day program - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

2 day program - Tuesday and Thursday

5 day program - Monday through Friday
